Frequently Asked Questions

IVF is stands for In-vitro fertilization (IVF). It is a series of procedures to help with fertility and assist with the conception of a child. IVF is the process of fertilization by extracting eggs, retrieving a sperm sample, and then manually combining an egg and sperm outside the body, in vitro. After fertilization, the eggs develop into embryos. The embryos are transferred into the uterus three to five days following egg retrieval and fertilization. The process involves monitoring and stimulating a woman's ovulatory process.
